DMCA Policy
Copyright takedown notices, counter-notices, and the repeat-infringer rule.
Effective Date: July 29, 2026
Last Updated: July 29, 2026
1. Plain-English Summary
If you believe content on Connect Live AI infringes your copyright, email us a takedown notice with the details listed below and we will act on it quickly. If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, you can file a counter-notice. Users who repeatedly infringe lose their accounts. This page explains each step.
This policy is issued under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. section 512, and applies to connectlive.ai, frontrow.connectlive.ai, and every related surface operated by Connect Live AI, Inc. (a Delaware corporation in formation) (the "Platform"). It works together with Section 9 of our Acceptable Use Policy at /legal/acceptable-use and the DMCA process described in our Terms of Service at /legal/terms.
2. How to File a Takedown Notice
Email legal@connectlive.ai with the subject line "DMCA Notice". A valid notice under 17 U.S.C. section 512(c)(3) must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are covered by one notice).
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material on the Platform, with enough detail for us to locate it, including a URL.
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may be rejected or returned with a request for the missing elements. We may share your notice, including your contact information, with the user who posted the material.
3. Designated Agent
Our designated-agent registration with the US Copyright Office is in progress. Until it completes, send all notices and counter-notices to legal@connectlive.ai. When the registration is complete, this page will be updated with the agent's registered name, mailing address, and telephone number.
4. What We Do With a Valid Notice
When we receive a valid takedown notice, we act expeditiously: we remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the user who posted it, provide that user a copy of the notice, and record the strike against the account under the repeat-infringer policy in Section 6.
5. Counter-Notices
If your content was removed because of a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, email legal@connectlive.ai with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice". A valid counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. section 512(g)(3) must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Connect Live AI may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or that person's agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. Unless the complainant notifies us within ten (10) business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the removed material in not less than ten (10) and not more than fourteen (14) business days after receiving the counter-notice.
6. Repeat Infringers
Consistent with 17 U.S.C. section 512(i) and Section 9 of our Acceptable Use Policy: users who receive three or more DMCA takedown notices from different rights holders in any rolling 12-month period are subject to permanent account termination as repeat infringers.
7. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. section 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner, or Connect Live AI. Do not file a notice or counter-notice unless the statements in it are true.
8. Not Legal Advice
This page describes our process. It is not legal advice. If you are unsure whether your rights are being infringed, or whether your use of someone else's work is lawful, consider consulting an attorney before filing.
